The Scholar

The Scholar
A renowned teacher, eager to continue learning, decided to visit a Zen master traveled hundreds of miles and waited several days for a personal interview with him. Finally, the scholar sat at the table next to the teacher and as a servant of tea cups placed before them, began to talk about their successes, academic titles and studies had been done.
The teacher remained silent while the man talked incessantly of his knowledge, explaining that he wanted to be his disciple and learn from it.
The Zen master began to serve your cup of tea, filled to overflowing, reaching the plate, fouling the table and poured over his legs.
- Is spilling tea everywhere! - Said the man, surprised.
"You are like this cup of tea .- master replied" You're so full of your knowledge and can not be anything new.
